My creative process fluctuates between being focused and methodical to engaging with imagery that surfaces from the unconscious or I capture from my environment. In general if there is a particular composition that I am chasing, I tend to put it together in my mind rather than sketch it on paper. I believe that when I put an image down I consider it to be a work on its own, as it comes from a combination of a pre-determined gesture and an unconscious intervention.
